42nd Annual Stidham Memorial Horse Show

The 42nd Annual Stidham Memorial Horse Show was a good one for Stoner Ridge Farm. It was one of those "Saturday Night" shows that are so fun to attend. The weather was beautiful; the atmosphere was great; and the horses were in fine shape for the show. We enjoyed having Tim and Marcia with us. Billie Hickey was also able to join us with Lauren and J.T. Marcia brought Charlie a butterscotch pie in honor of Baby Ruby's birthday . . . yes, she really did turn one year old today. Who can forget the Stidham Memorial last year when Baby Ruby was delivered by c-section three weeks early. Charlie even remembered that it was at 2:02 in the afternoon. Anyway, we did have a great show.
Our congratulations goes out to Robert and Jazzy in the Mares Country Trail Pleasure Class and their first place win. J.T. also rode Jazzy and did an excellent job placing 2nd. Stormy was a strong competitor placing 1st with Lauren in the 12-17 yo Trail Class, 1st with Tim in the Open Geldings class, 2nd with Marcia, and 3rd with J.T. Mike was a big winner at the Stidham Memorial placing 1st on The Cross Filly in a very strong class of 2-3 year olds. Robert placed 5th in the same class with Squirrel. I placed 5th on Nugget in the Non-Pro Classic Class. SRF's Silver Sundown did a great job in a large Trail Pleasure Stallions class placing 2nd and in the championship, he placed 3rd. Way to go everyone! You all looked great!
